This is a list of adult shows you can watch with your tweens. Children’s programming leaves something to be desired, and that’s all I’m gonna say about that 😉 I know, I know, we should we watching less TV, right? But we happen to enjoy TV in our house, and though I try to limit it, we enjoy sitting and watching shows together when there’s no good movies for movie night.
Naturally, every family has different convictions. So please review any show before watching with your tween and use your own judgement. What’s okay for me might offend you. All of the shows listed here are rated TV-PG or less, however some British shows are not rated.
Most of these are either available on Netflix orAmazon Prime*. I first started using Amazon Prime just for the free 2 day shipping on most items. I would probably never pay $99 a year to watch television, but as a homeschool mom the 2 day shipping alone is worth it. I also use it now for much more than books, with free shipping it beats going out to the store.

Okay, this isn’t an adult show, but it is not well known so I wanted to include it.
